Hello, I’m Megan.

As a design director based in Austin, Texas, I have over 25 years of experience defining, evolving, and elevating brands. Born in Germany and raised in Washington State, I’m an explorer of what-ifs. A wonderer of the why. Endlessly curious and a relentless asker of questions. A connector of dots, people, mediums, and ideas. I foster a culture of calculated risk-taking. I embrace mistakes as learning opportunities. And above all, I believe the most exceptional work occurs when teams are respected, valued, and nurtured. Creative passions aside, I’m a proud mom of two kids, Anya and Sage, who keep me grounded and inspired in the best possible ways.

Recognition

  • I had the privilege of working under Megan’s leadership for a year, and in that time, she made a lasting impact on both my career and personal growth. She is the kind of leader who truly cares—not just about the work, but about the people doing it. Megan always took the time to listen, support, and guide me, ensuring I had the opportunities and resources to develop professionally. Her ability to lead with both empathy and expertise created an environment where I felt valued and motivated every day. Anyone who has the chance to work with Megan is incredibly lucky—she’s not just a great leader, but a genuinely wonderful person.

  • Megan is one of those rare creative talents who is both incredibly skilled and highly strategic. She is extremely good at her craft, has a great eye for design and obsesses over the details. At the same time, she cares deeply about the brand, the customer, and the business. Megan is thoughtful, passionate, and driven. I was fortunate to have Megan on my team for over 2 ½ years and even more fortunate to consider her a friend.

Former EVP of Creative, DDB North America

  • I worked under Megan as a copywriter, and eventually as an Associate Creative Director. Beyond having an exquisite eye for design, what I loved about working with Megan is her ability to ask the most thoughtful questions. Not only did this push our briefs and strategy to a better place, it also propelled the creative beyond what we would ever come up with without her. She taught me how to defend creative choices with strategic reasoning, navigate challenging organizations without compromising vision, and how to lead with both confidence and empathy. I can directly attribute my own career growth to what I learned from her. Anyone bringing Megan aboard isn't just getting a design director—they're getting someone who elevates the thinking and performance of everyone around her.

  • What I wouldn't give to bring Megan along every career stop I make. She has an amazing, rare ability to zoom out and see strategy while also zooming into details. She is kind, driven and a creative thinker - traits critical to being a leader that develops direction and builds brands with a loyal team. Her deep experience lends a holistic approach to solving business problems not just creating pretty pictures.
